The Institute of Medicine estimates that approximately 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain at a cost of more than $600 billion annually for treatment. And due to the increase in the number of people addicted to opiate drugs, from prescription medications to heroin, the Center for Disease Control has labelled the problem an epidemic.

An amazing study conducted by Dr Zeidan at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina showed some really exciting results!

“Meditation produced a greater reduction in pain than even morphine or other pain-relieving drugs, which typically reduce pain ratings by about 25 per cent.”

Dr Zeidan and his team believe that meditation has great potential for clinical use….simply because very little training was required to produce such huge pain-relief. In other words, meditation is so easy to learn!

“This study shows that meditation produces real effects in the brain and can provide an effective way for people to substantially reduce their pain without medications,” Dr Zeidan said.
